Here at Make Comic Book Collecting Fun Again we like to give back to the community. In doing so, we’ve developed some projects and partnerships of which we’re very proud. If you have any interest in contributing or donating to our projects, or if you have ideas for future projects, please contact us!
We’ve partnered with ComicBooks for Kids to create a coloring book to be distributed to children in hospitals and cancer centers across America. ComicBooks for Kids is a non-profit organization started by Mark Weiss in Chicago. Their mission is to provide comic books as an escape for children dealing with illness and hospital stays. This coloring book is for them. You can purchase your own and help us provide more to the kids by clicking here. Each book you purchase buys two for the kids!
In our sister Facebook group, #MCBCFA B/S/T, we hold charity auctions to raise funds for our various projects. You can join the group by clicking here and bid on some awesome original artwork and rare collectibles.
During our our 1,000 member celebration fundraiser in August 2018, we raised over $2,100 for ComicBooks for Kids! The fundraiser included a live event and many auction items. Because of the efforts of our members, ComicBooks for Kids was able to expand their programming and provide comic books for Wings of Hope, a non-profit group that provides free medical transportation for children in need.
